Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will be released in July 18th, 2024. The demo for the game (PC platform) will be available at Steam Next Fest on June 10th, 2024. Preorders are live and still running at this time – the game’s Steam page lists the game as 10% off for preordering, dialing the game at a retail price of $35.99 USD with the discount.

Upon release, Flintlock will have a physical deluxe edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The deluxe edition includes a digital soundtrack, the full game, a digital artbook, and DLC cosmetic content. The digital deluxe version contains the full base game plus the DLC cosmetic content.

Flintlock is developed by New Zealand based studio A44 Games; its parent company, Kepler Interactive, is publishing the game. The game’s engine is based in Unity and the game itself is categorized as a single player action role playing game.

The trailer, dropped on June 9th, shows explosive action with well rendered visual effects. Flintlock is pitched as a souls-lite where players can chain together physical melee, ranged, and magic attacks. The player plays as Nor Vanek, a member of the Coalition army seeking vengeance against the gods above. Nor Vanek’s companion Enki – a fox-like creature – guides him. The magic Vanek has also comes from Enki.
