It hasn’t been very long since Scott Cawthon, the creator of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, resigned from this series. Ray McCaffrey, the executive producer of this latest installment, announced that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach will be released on PC, PS4, and PS5 on December 16th. This is a first-person, survival horror game set in Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. You play as Gregory, a little boy who is trapped inside and looking for a way out. The game is said to be the most ambitious installment yet of the series. There is a stamina system that forces the player to run and hide wisely. The animatronics will speed up as you survive longer, you will need to learn and manage your stamina so you don’t get caught by one of the S.T.A.F.F. Bots. The gameplay will feel a lot different from any other games in the series.
The trailer reveals the characters that will be chasing you in the game. On top of that, there will also be many hiding spots and cameras that you can use to your advantage. You can knock over objects to draw your enemies’ attention. You can also use stun weapons to temporarily disable your enemies’ movement. According to Ray McCaffrey, there will even be boss battles in the game.
Unexpectedly, Freddy Fazbear himself will aid you in your escape attempt. He will be providing you with guidance, shortcuts, insider tips, and warnings. You can also hide in Freddy’s birthday-cake-hatch to march around undetected. However, you need to use Freddy wisely because his power only lets him go on for a certain period of time, and he needs to recharge frequently at power stations. Look forward to the new features and items in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, as they will be quite different from the game’s predecessors.
