If you would have told me two years ago that a small indie title called Five Night’s At Freddy’s would be one of the most popular games ever, I would have laughed at you. Well, two years and 4 more games later, Five Night at Freddy’s has blown up way bigger than creator Scott Cawthon could’ve imagined. Now a new game has been announced in the FNaF series called Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Sister Location.
After a hilariously bright and color RPG spin-off, it looks like Sister Location will bring the game back to its horror roots that scared Let’s Players worldwide. The trailer shows some old locations from the game, like the famous security monitor room, and new locations like some kind of weird elevator. It looks like Freddy Fazbear and his animatronic gang are coming back, this time looking lot sleeker than they did in Five Night’s at Freddy’s 4.
The most interesting part of the trailer are the two new female robots. No names have been given to these animatronics, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. It looks like there has been a noticable graphical upgrade from the last game in the series, as the textures and lighting effects on the robots look really good in the trailer.
While Five Night’s at Freddy’s is still very popular, the reception of the series has gotten more negative for each new game. Five Night’s at Freddy’s World was a good change of pace for the series, so hopefully Sister Location can bring something fresh to excite fans. Of course, I’m sure Sister Location will keep the same creepy atmosphere and tension that drew in millions of players in the first place.
