Avalanche Studios have uploaded a new trailer for the first paid DLC for Just Cause 3, Sky Fortress. The Sky Fortress expansion introduces a new story line, extra missions, weapons, and personal defense drones. Perhaps the most exciting is the mechanized “Bavarium” wingsuit, which is basically a jet pack with wings that allows Rico to fly. I mean he could basically fly before with just a parachute and grappling hook, but now he can just straight up fly.
The story for the expansion has Rico fighting an army of drones. Sky Fortress is the first of three expansions as part of Just Cause 3’s Air, Land, and Sea expansion pass. Although there isn’t a confirmed price for the individual expansions, eager players can get the Land, Air, and Sea pass for $25, which allows them to play Sky Fortress seven days before it comes out. No specific date has been released for Sky Fortress, but Avalanche Studios said it’s due sometime in March.
From the trailer, it looks like Sky Fortress keeps up with craziness the series is known for. Maybe the next expansion will have Rico in a giant robot suit, and then in the third one you can ride a Shark.
