Fans of Fire Emblem Heroes may be ecstatic to learn that the mobile strategy RPG will be receiving a subscription pass starting tomorrow. According to the Fire Emblem Heroes Feh Channel, Nintendo intends to roll out this “Feh pass” with the game’s 4.2 update on February 5th. The subscription pass will give any gamers who subscribe a number of benefits for a monthly payment of $9.50, including an array of exclusive characters, special quests, and much more.
Gamers who subscribe to the “Feh Pass” will receive two special versions of existing characters known as Resplendent Heroes each month. Resplendent Heroes come with their own unique outfit as well as a +2 Stat bonus to every stat. The first two Resplendent Heroes that will be distributed are Lyn and Cordelia. Resplendent Lyn will be available from February 5th to February 24th, while Resplendent Cordelia will be available from February 24th through March 9th. After this initial distribution, new Resplendent Heroes will be distributed on the 10th and the 25th of every month. Subscribers who miss the distribution dates don’t need to fear as the Resplendent Heroes will still be receivable through purchase.
The “Feh Pass” will also allow subscribers to participate in a number of special quests that will reward players with orbs, Heroic Grails, and other special items twice a month. The pass will also increase the number of heroes players can form Summoner Support bonds with from one to three. The “Feh Pass” will also grant subscribers two new gameplay features, Re-Act, and Auto-Start. Re-Act will allow players to return to the start of the previous turn, provided that their heroes haven’t moved yet, while Auto-Start allows players to automatically replay multiple maps if they have enough stamina.
The Feh Channel also disclosed another new feature that will be available with the 4.3 update in March called the Compile Combat Manual. This feature will allow players to take the Divine Codes they have collected and “compile them into Combat Manuals of various heroes”. Not much more is known beyond this, but it is likely that more information will be revealed at a later date.
