Superlou Games just announced that their game, Finding Frankie, will now be releasing on consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series. Not only would you be able to purchase the game through the PlayStation Store, it seems that there will also be a disk version as well judging by Superlou Games’ tweet. A release date has not been announced as of yet.
Finding Frankie is an indie horror game with platform and parkour elements. The game was first launched for PC on Steam on October 25th, 2024. The player plays one of the four contestants of a game show held within a a famous trampoline park. The contestants were invited by finding a secret VHS tape inside one of the Frankie branded cereal boxes. What seems to be a simple, fun, and entertaining gameshow suddenly turns sinister when Frankie, the main mascot in the game and also the announcer of the gameshow, lunges at one of the contestants and attacks them.
There are a few chase scenes with Frankie himself and players must swing, slide, and jump their way through obstacle courses to avoid getting caught by Frankie, and also a final game at the end where the player will face off Frankie in a deadly game. As the player goes through each of the parkour challenges, they will meet other friendly and sinister characters such as Henry Hotline and Deputy Duck.
According to Gematsu, Superlou Games said, “Perp Games has given us the opportunity to bring Finding Frankie to eagerly awaiting console fans in a highly imaginative and unique way. Through their incredible collaboration and expertise, we’re confident it will be an amazing experience that will satisfy even the most intense Finding Frankie fans!”
