All the major games have released, and the year is almost over. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any more announcements coming. Sony has announced their final PlayStation State of Play presentation is set to take place next week in the early morning of Tuesday, December 10.

According the post on the PlayStation blog, this State of Play will last about twenty minutes or so and feature “new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, PlayStation Worldwide Studios updates, and more.” Other than that, Sony did not give any hints about what actual games will appear during the presentation. However, the company was very specific in what will not be there by stating there will be no news in regards to the PlayStation 5.
In regards to what could possibly appear during the State of Play, another look at The Last of Us Part II could be likely as it was the centerpiece of the last State of Play before getting subsequently delayed. Another possible candidate would be Ghost of Tsushima which hasn’t been heard from since E3 2018. Twitter user Nibel did note the game’s YouTube playlist has been updated recently, so an appearance during the State of Play seems likely.
Then, there’s a possibility of the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake appearing during the event. Geoff Keighley, the host of The Game Awards, stated no announcements from the show have leaked, so it’s highly unlikely that the game will appear there. However, there’s the possibility Capcom will debut the game at Jump Festa early next year instead.
The final 2019 PlayStation State of Play will occur on Tuesday, December 10 at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT. You can watch the presentation on the official PlayStation YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, or Facebook pages.
