Square Enix has released bios for some of Final Fantasy XV’s main characters. These are the first serious bits of information the public is privy to regarding the games characters.
Noctis Lucis Caelum “Noct” – A prince and last heir to the Lucis Kingdom. Suffered an accident as a child that has given him the ability to see “light” and foresee a person’s death.
Gladiolus Amicitia – Companion and childhood friend of Noct. Takes on a protector ‘older sibling’ role and considers Noct a brother.
Ignis Stupeo Scientia – Close childhood friend of Noct and Gladiolus. A strategist of the royal family. Grew up receiving gifted education.
Prompto Argentum – A childhood friend of Noct who is considered a bad influence. Wields guns despite their ban in the kingdom.
Cor Leonis – Head of Royal Family Guards, and one of the three best fighters in the kingdom. Known as the “Immortal Shogun.” A companion of Noct who is harsh but a true man of honor.
