Final Episode of Super Game Jam Now Available

The fifth and final episode of the documentary series Super Game Jam is now available for download on Steam, along with a 25% discount.

This particular episode, taking place in London, England, follows Gunpoint developer Tom Francis and Remembering developer Liselore Goedhart as they team up to design a game, eventually titled  SimAntics, based around the theme of ‘simulation.

Previous participants have included Jonatan Söderström (Hotline Miami), Jan Willem Nijman (Ridiculous Fishing), Dominik Johann (Impetus), Adam Drucker (Samurai Gunn), and many more.

The premise of Super Game Jam revolves around unlikely pairings of two indie developers, with a 48 hour time limit to design a game based on a specific theme suggested by their peers. Along the way, the documentary chronicles each duo’s brainstorming, challenges and camaraderie, giving an intimate level of insight into how some of the industry’s finest indie developers operate under challenging circumstances.

The series was filmed by Bram Ruiter and Daniel Oliveira, with Hotline Miami publisher Devolver Digital handling publishing duties.

Super Game Jam is currently available at a 25% discount for $14.99. Buying it gets you all five episodes, along some behind the scenes footage, music, trailers, and perhaps most enticingly, prototype versions of the games developed in each of the five episodes.
