Announced previously in October 2025, FIFA Heroes dropped its first reveal trailer via YouTube on March 25th. The newest FIFA game in multiple years is expected to be available on April 28 for mobile users.
Arriving before the start of the World Cup, FIFA Heroes is a 5v5 arcade style game where players can play as current soccer stars like Harry Kane, Lautaro Martínez and Jack Grealish, retired soccer athletes like Diego Maradona and in a brand new twist, mythical figures like Thor, Sun Wukong and the animal themed FIFA World Cup 2026 Mascots.
Through the graphics of the reveal trailer, FIFA Heroes teases a game unlike any EA Sports created game before. In a partnership with an all new development studio called Enver, who is best known for VR games like Mutants and Shark Bait, the new cartoony like aesthetic of the trailer as well as the games ability to create “game changing powers” such as fireball kicks and equip superheroes who can create forcefields, seem to herald the shift from the realistic EA Sports gameplay.
FIFA Heroes was created to both replicate real life football culture and moves, while allowing players to “master epic skills” and “unleash superpowers.” In addition, Gamespot observes that the game will allow “exaggerated skills, personality-driven characters, and accessible gameplay.” The game is designed to support short form matches, head to head play as well as the usual in game events and season progression.
FIFA Heroes’ reveal teaser also previews an upcoming collaboration with Motorola. Earlier this month, the telecommunications company revealed that upcoming FIFA Heroes players on specific Motorola devices would gain free in-game currency and playable characters. Some Motorola devices will also have the game installed.
FIFA Heroes is expected to release on Mobile (Android & IOS), Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Xbox series X/S. There is currently no mention of a PC release.
