September 13 is the release date for the demo for FIFA 17, according to EA Sports. The demo is set for release for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The demo has you playing the role of football star Alex Hunter, which is a first for the FIFA franchise. The player will be able to play a select experience in The Journey, playing for one of England’s premiere clubs, Manchester United. In the Kick Off feature you will be able to “Own Every Moment” as you control the innovation of the way a player thinks and moves, how the player physically interacts with opponents and the execution of an attack that puts you in prime position to assist or score a goal, which grants you complete control of how the game is played.
While the games in the Kick Off feature are loading you can play some Skill Games. Players will be able to play four Single Player Skill Games as well as three of the multiplayer skill games that are available upon the full release.
Players will be able to play as 12 of the premiere football clubs in the world:
- Manchester United
- Manchester City
- Chelsea
- Real Madrid
- Juventes
- Inter
- Paris Saint-Germain
- Olympique Lyonnais
- Seattle Sounders
- Bayern München
- Tigres U.A.N.L. (MX)
- Gamba Osaka
The stadiums players can play in are:
- CenturyLink
- Stamford Bridge
- Suita City Football Stadium
Major League Soccer has received some love with this demo, despite being one of the “lesser” leagues in the world according to many football fans: The Seattle Sounders is one of the top teams in the MLS and CenturyLink is the stadium that they play their home games in, and is also the home of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks.
FIFA 17 is set for release on September 27 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Also notable in the game is that Lionel Messi after many years is no longer the No. 1 rated player in the game.
