Felt That Boxing Reveal Trailer Shown During Summer Game Fest 2025

There have been many trailers shown through Summer Game Fest 2025, and one of those trailers was a reveal trailer for Felt That: Boxing, created by Sans Strings Studio. There has yet to be an official release date, and it is yet to be said who the publishers of the game will be. Players are able to wishlist the game right now on PC through Steam.

The trailer shows main protagonist Ezra “Fuzz-E” Wright, according to Steam, “a once-reluctant hero turned prizefighter,” and he is determined to save his childhood puppet orphanage from total demolition by participating in “The Tournament of a Million Punches.” The next half of the trailer shows comedic gameplay between puppet opponents as they fight to be victorious.

The official Steam page goes more in depth of the story that is being told, “Ezra never meant to be a boxer. But when a greedy developer threatens to bulldoze the only home he’s ever known, he laces up his oversized gloves and steps into the spotlight. What starts as a desperate bid to save the orphanage quickly escalates into a wild ride through bombastic arenas, full of outrageous characters, ridiculous power-ups, and surprisingly emotional turns.”

As for the gameplay that players can experience in Felt That: Boxing is dodging, punching, blocking and super-smack their opponents through different arenas that were inspired by puppet-theater flair and Saturday morning cartoons. The different brawls are fast-paced that reward timing and precision. There will also be different power-ups like pie toss, anvil drop, and unicycle ride mid-match.

There are also different modes that players will be able to play such as story mode, where the primary focus of Ezra’s story. Trailer Challenges, the next mode, focuses on the skills to win different training games like toilet plunging. There will be costumes, voice lines, and taunts for players to unlock along their journey.
