Far Cry Primal Promotion Winner Gets To Sleep In A Cave

You read that right.
Ubisoft is taking to twitter in a (successful? I mean, we ARE talking about it) attempt to promote their upcoming, open world Stone Age game, Far Cry Primal.  Dubbed “Night in a Cave,” the campaign winner will get to bring one ballsy friend and spend a night in, get this, an undisclosed cave in France. Meaning no one knows where this is beforehand. Ubisoft was generous enough to supply some footage of said French mystery cave.

The truly adventurous at heart can enter this contest by tweeting @FarCryPrimal alongside the contest’s official hashtag: #cavebnb. Be warned, courageous tweeters–this will take place in the middle of winter.

For those interested in entering, we suggest a close review of Ubisoft’s Competition Rules. Sadly, fans not located in Western Europe are not up for the chance to win, as the contest “is open only to legal residents of France, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Belgium and The Netherlands who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.”
Sorry, all of North America, South America, Eastern Europe, and Australia.

The submitted tweet is required to offer a unique reason as to why they are willing to drag a friend and spend a night in a cave. Participants can utilize memes or GIFs from all reaches of the internet. The winner will be selected based on the creativity of their submission.

Ubisoft promises to purchase the winners’ plane tickets to Pyrénées, in Ouzous of France, as well as foot the bill for their hotel in Lourdes–so at least it appears the contest winners will not exclusively spend the majority of their time roughing it. Ubisoft will also provide professional “survival training” beforehand, presumably to help winners fight off possible cave dwelling monsters–or, more realistically, to help simulate an experience similar to that found in Far Cry Primal.

If you live in Western Europe and are interested in entering, take to twitter now before the contest ends.

Far Cry Primal will be released on February 23rd, next month, for Xbox One and Playstation 4. Meanwhile, the PC version will come out later on March 1st.

Good luck to those who enter!
