Far Cry 5 Unveiled Its First Live Event With A Challenge Called Well Done

Since the release of Far Cry 5, fans have noticed a teaser regarding Live Events in the game’s menu. Well Done is the first of these, and is filled with objective requirements that allot rewards for completion.

These events are entirely optional, but offer a nice break from the basegame, and a possibility of new unlockables. The objective of Well Done derives of managing to slay as many animals as possible with the use of fire. While this sounds easy enough (provided it’s not impeding on any moral qualms), the catch consists of a limitation regarding what kind of gear can be used to accomplish the task. The two most convenient items, molotovs and the flamethrower, can’t be utilized for this challenge, meaning players need to get creative. Thankfully, flame arrows aren’t too difficult to manufacture.

For comparison, the Live Events tab will be tracking your own progression alongside the progression of the community. There’s a secret prize for meeting certain thresholds, with a Flamebearer flamethrower going to the lucky individuals who can rank in at least twenty kills. Continue the slaughter, and a Flamebearer outfit will be available once the community as a whole has managed 150,000 total kills. Players have until April 10 to hit this goal, so be sure to jump on the opportunity while it’s hot.

Far Cry 5 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Make sure to keep checking the Live Events tab for more of these events, and to watch out for the DLC that is soon to come.
