As Pax East 2018 officially kicked off in Boston, fans can expect a multitude of announcements to come forward during the convention from many developers. So far we’ve gotten some news about some exciting expansions, as well as some new projects coming along. However, fans also got to get a fresh new look at a title that isn’t too far from release as a way to show them just what awaits them.
Undead Labs has revealed a brand new gameplay trailer for State of Decay 2, the brutal survival game that tasks players with running a community of survivors against hoards of various zombies. It’s been some time since we last got a look at this title but from the looks of this new trailer fans will have a lot to be excited about when it drops late next month. The trailer showed off the stunning environment, character selection, how players will go about building and customizing bases, a quick view of the crafting system, some exciting and gruesome combat, as well as some cook driving mechanics.
State of Decay 2 will have two different versions available; the standard edition will go for $30, while the Ultimate edition will cost $50. The Ultimate Edition will provide players early access to the game on May 18, contain both the Independence and Daybreak DLC packs, and a copy of State of Decay: Year One Survivial Edition. Preordering will also give players exclusive content. State of Decay 2 will launch for the Xbox One and PC on May 22.
