Fangtopia, a cozy tile-laying puzzle game, has recently launched an official demo for players to enjoy via Steam. On September 2nd, the publisher’s posted the official release date trailer on there YouTube channel. It revealed that the game is scheduled to come out October 26th, 2026. Just in time for Halloween gaming fun.

Today, Secret Mode has posted the official demo trailer, highlighting the spooky themed building that players can expect. Gameplay will feature landmarks for players to uncover and objectives to complete. These completed tasks will unlock stickers, which can be collected and viewed through the sticker book menu.

The demo will feature two gameplay modes: Fangtopia Mode and Island Mode. Fangtopia Mode, enables players to understand the basic mechanics of the game in a short, cozy, session. Island mode, grants the players a bit more control. They will set out to connect remote islands together, creating ghostly railways as featured in the demo trailer.

The game includes no time constraints. Players can build and learn the mechanics at their own pace and playing the game is easy-to-learn. There are a variety of land tiles for players to match together, connecting terrain of the same type will earn players points and expand their kingdom further. Some landscapes include misty mountains, dark woods, ghostly railways, rivers, towns, and so forth.

Players have complete creative freedom to place the tiles around their build, enabling them to create a spooky paradise for their monsters. The demo will also include monsters for players to discover, each of them sure to add some liveliness to their builds. Monsters can be uncovered by completing portal objectives that draws in friendly monsters.
