Ever since it was announced, Fallout 76 has become major talking point as it’s one of most anticipated games to release this Fall. It’s also divided fans of the series, with some praising the online multiplayer aspect, and others criticizing the change from their single player experience. Also, despite Todd Howards outstanding speech during Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference, we’re still in the dark about a lot of things with Fallout 76, and with the release only a few months away, that’s concerning. However, according to the company, we should be receiving new information very soon, as they tweeted earlier this week that Fallout 76 will be showcased at Bethesda’s premier event, QuakeCon 2018, during a panel promising a “deeper dive” into the game.
The panel will go into the character systems and the perks that will be featured in Fallout 76. In addition, Todd Howard and the development team will be doing a Q&A session, allowing people in the audience to ask any relevant questions in regards the game and the company. Needless to say, even after they divulge more about the title, fans will still throw questions their way. However, Fallout 76 isn’t the only game they’ll be talking about at QuakeCon, the company will start off the convention with their QuakeCon Keynote Address, with new updates planned for Quake Champions, Rage 2, The Elder Scrolls: Online, and Doom Eternal.
QuakeCon will go from August 9-12, and will take place at The Grapevine Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. For those who cannot attend, you can watch the keynotes and panels on Bethesda’s Twitch and Mixer pages. Fallout 76 will also hold B.E.T.A. later this year in October, which you can sign up for after following the instructions here. It’s important to note that you’ll need to pre order the game to be eligible, in addition, the B.E.T.A. will also be a timed exclusive to the Xbox One.
