Have an Xbox One, but have been envious of all the cool mods the Fallout 4 community made for PC? Well don’t worry, because the mods will be available for all Xbox One user on May 31st. Therefore, Bethesda was able to keep there promise of releasing the mods sometime in May. However, Playstation 4 players will have to wait another month until the mods become playable for them. Earlier today, on Bethesda’s Twitch channel they had a live stream of Fallout 4 mods gameplay on an Xbox One. You can view this gameplay in the video below.
Some mods that have been made available for Xbox One include “Snap’n Build, which allows players to build more structures in their settlements. Another is the Alien Assault Rife, which is exactly what you might imagine it to be. One more mod allows players to craft night-vision goggles.” All of these mods were originally made for PC but now were upgraded to be played the consoles. Mods for PC were only recently officially supported by Bethesda even though mods were being made since November of 2015.
Bethesda’s most recent update for Xbox One helped set up the groundwork for Mod support. By allowing this mod support for consoles has helped make the Fallout 4 mod community a little bigger, and will only increase once Playstation 4 is also included. This would be one of the few console games that has allowed for mod support on consoles.
