Fae Farm Releases Patch Notes for the 2.1 Update

Fae Farm released the first major update since the release of 2.0. In this update, the developers tried to listen to the concerns of the players after doing a Q&A live stream back in December. The biggest change is the way the clock progression works in-game. Other changes include the stats panel getting a fresh new look. The developers are already talking about future updates already with plans for 2.2 to be released in the spring and the second expansion in the summer.

The in-game time has had a few complaints from players that is being resolved with this update. In decoration and construction mode, the time will stop, except for the crafting stations. Buff and De-buff will also pause when the game is paused, letting players not waste potions unintentionally. The animals and enemies will now pause when the game is pause as well, after they complete the current animation they were doing. Multiplayer also saw improvements with the day no longer automatically starting and if all players are paused, then the in-game time will pause.

Other updates include the ability to create seeds from flowers, berry bushes and fruit trees are now affected by spells, and fixed a couple issues with the animals. Many quests were fixed or reworked. Textures and animations saw updates that fixed certain bugs. The economy saw an adjustment in certain good sold being either reduced in price or reduced in the amount of items needed to craft it. The stats overlay is now updated to provide clearer information for buffs and de-buffs to the player.

With a lot of bugs and issues fixed for their DLC and their main game, Fae Farm’s developers have been keeping up and listening to their players.
