Experience A Modern Take Of Old European Legends and Myths In Crowns And Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit

Another point-and-click style mystery-adventure title is currently in-the-works and expected to in the coming year. Tag of Joys, a game studio based in Lithuania and focused on developing creative interactive experiences, is currently working on a point-and-click style game titled Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit. Along with its Steam Store page, the team also released the game’s teaser as well as several screenshots. With this new game, the studio hopes to entertain players with the “less explored history of Europe”.

The project is a European mystery-adventure following the story of Milda, a young girl from Chicago who receives a message with unfortunate news. Her grandfather has passed away, and she has been named his heir, as well as the newest guardian tasked with learning and protecting a long-hidden family secret. She soon sets out across the sea to Europe, and embark on a mission to uncover the truth of “a king who was never crowned”. Players will enjoy a full-voiced story, puzzles, customizable characters, real-life European locations recreated in a handpainted HD art style, and a world where your decision can directly affect the story.

This project is a work-in-progress and does not have an official release date as of yet. Tag of Joys studios is currently expecting to launch the finished product sometime during Q2 of next year, 2020. The game will be available for the Xbox One as well as PC (Steam, Windows, and Mac).
