Rumors have been swirling suggesting the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Ghosts will run at 720p, whereas the PlayStation 4 version will run at 1080p. Today, ex IGN employee Jeremy Conrad has suggested as much via Twitter.

David Abrams, owner of Cheap Ass Gamer, also weighed in.
I’m not reviewing any Xbox One games so I will tell you right now, Ghosts on XB1 is indeed 720p vs PS4′s 1080p. Could that change? Maybe?

If this is indeed true, one has to wonder – why? It certainly adds credibility to all of the rumors suggesting the PS4 is 50% faster than the Xbox One.
Until Microsoft either confirms or denies this rumor, it remain as such.
