The Last of Us Remastered is receiving a PS4 bundle treatment in Europe.
Europeans are being treated to a 500 GB console, a copy of The Last of Us Remastered and the DualShock Controller 4. News of the package is from a PlayStation blog post. The bundle will be available on July 30th in Europe and is going to cost $585.
As for the US, the game is expected to be out on July 29 without any bundle alongside the game’s re-release on Sony’s new system. Polygon reports that the bundle is in fact not going to make it into the US. A Sony spokesperson’s statement says:
We do not have plans to release a PlayStation 4 bundle for The Last of Us Remastered in the US. However, we look forward to bringing the award winning game to PS4 on July 29, 2014.
Originally the game was priced at $59.99, but is now $49.99. A price drop from the initial PS3 $60 price tag offers all new updates to the graphics, cut-scenes and DLC.
The nearly perfect game on the previous generation of PlayStation’s gaming systems will run at 60 fps and 1080p resolution. Directory Commentary featuring the voice actors of the two main characters is also included in the package.
The Last of Us was released last year on June 14 by developer Naughty Dog. Since, the game received high acclaim from reviewers and gamers. Check out the E3 2014 trailer of the game below.
