This year marks the tenth anniversary of the game Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). The developers announced that they have planned many events for this occasion including some in-person events. On April 5th-6th, players can go to the first of many celebrations at SugarFactory, which is right outside of Amsterdam. SugarFactory is an industrial event space located in the Netherlands. According to their website, they are the site of a former sugar factory that turned beets into sugar. It did so up until 1992 and is now an event space for large events. This style of event space perfect to host their event.
Starting the celebration off on April 5th festivities include a keynote address, a voiceover actor panel, zone creation developer panel, and more. The following day includes an ESO cosplay contest, trivia, and more. These events are subject to change as the plans for this event are finalized. There will also be special activities for attendees to do including calligraphy, alchemy, leather working, and more. Attendees will also be able to mingle with the developers of the game. Other perks include event merchandise including a secret item that attendees will have to “discover” at the event.
In addition to this event, the developers plan to celebrate around the globe. While Amsterdam will be the largest event hosted, smaller more local events will happen across the group. Countries include China, the United Kingdom, the United States, and more. Details for these events will be announced in April.
