Daedalic Entertainment, an award-winning video game developer and publisher based in Germany, will be celebrating the console launch of their 2012 dark comedy, point-and-click styled adventure game titled Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes. The game is a sequel to the 2008 adventure game, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. The second entry in the series will be launching on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 tomorrow, August 14.
For those unfamiliar with the title, Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes follows the life of Lilli, a young schoolgirl living in a convent under the strict rule of Mother Superior. Initially, she appears to be the most obedient child that ever lived. She never talks back, and always executes the tasks given to her without question, no matter how unfair they may be. Though she presents herself as the most well-behaved little girl, there’s only so much one person can take before finally cracking. Hidden beneath the surface, there may just be an overwhelming sea of rebellious energy waiting to breakthrough. How much longer can she hold it back?
But when her friend Edna mysteriously vanishes, Lilli will set out on a mission to not only save her best friend but also face her own subconscious fears. Players can enjoy uniquely hand-drawn cartoon animation, wacky dark humor, strange yet interesting characters, challenging puzzles, and hours of hilarious dialogue and gameplay.
