EA To Temporarily Shut Down Star Wars Battlefront Servers For New DLC

With the first DLC for Star Wars Battlefront coming out tomorrow for all the Season Pass holders, EA has decided to shut down the servers early in the morning to release the DLC pack, and a patch. The servers should be back up in around an hour after being shut down. For everyone that decided to wait to purchase, Outer Rim will be released at an unknown date. Gamestop has April 8 as the date it will be released, but this is not a confirmed date. So if you still want to purchase the Season Pass to get the DLC tomorrow and the next DLC’s earlier you can still purchase it for $50. For more on the details of the new DLC check out this earlier post.

The Update tomorrow will give all players, a Spectator mode, “Hutt Contracts” missions, an increase to the level cap, new weapons, and more! The update will not include the new heroes in the DLC.
