EA and Respawn have began teasing their new mysterious title Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. We first heard about the title during last years E3. It was said to be a single person game where players will take on the role of an inexperienced Jedi during the events following Episode III: Revenge of The Sith.
The game will also reportedly be canon within the Star Wars universe. Aside from that, the only other bits of information we have so far about the title is that it’s set to be a single player game played from a 3rd person perspective and that thanks to a recent financial report the game is still currently set for a 2019 release.
Now, it looks like EA is finally ready to break their silence on their project as they and Respawn have been teasing the title on social media. With Star Wars Celebration a few days away, EA has updated the official website for the game with an updated logo. In addition to this, the EA Star Wars Twitter account also posted a cryptic teaser showing a lightsaber with the phrase “Don’t stand out.” This likely references the story where Jedi have gone into hiding within this point in time of the series.
It looks like EA finally has something to show us in regards to the title. It will be interesting to see what they’ve been working on. Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is one of the last known Star Wars title currently in development. EA closed down their other single player Star Wars title that was being developed at Visceral as well as the would be open world title that was being headed by EA Vancouver.
With this game still being in development and seemingly ready to show off many may speculate if any assets from the other projects that didn’t see the light of day will he used in Fallen Order. Thankfully we won’t have long to find out, Star Wars Celebration takes place on April 13 and EA will be holding a livestream for their reveal which will start 1:30 CDT.
