EA Sports has not released a golf game since 2015 when they came out with Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. Although the upcoming PGA Tour game has many fans excited, they will have to wait a little longer until the game is officially released.
EA Sports told fans this week that their upcoming PGA Tour game will be delayed until the spring of 2023. The company did not offer any details about why the game is being delayed. This news comes after delays from the company dating back to 2021. Originally, PGA Tour was announced in March of 2021 and was supposed to release sometime in the spring of 2022. This timeline would have released the game as golf season was in full swing and the most popular time of the year.

EA Sports did not provide much information about details in regards to the official release date. Instead, they gave some details about the game that many fans may be interested in. First, the game will feature all of the major four tournaments in golf. These tournaments include the Masters, the U.S. Open, the British Open, and the PGA Championship. Additionally, the game will include the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass and the FedEx Cup, as well as both the Evian Championship of the LPGA and Ladies European Tour. The inclusion of these courses will give players the most realistic experience the game can offer.
In addition to the confirmed tour courses, EA confirmed that Korn Ferry will also be included in the game’s career mode. This tournament features many new professional golfers who are looking to make it onto the PGA Tour.
All of these additions will be coming to the game sometime in 2023 as fans are hopeful that the release is accurate.
