EA Announces Madden NFL 15 For August 26th Release Date

With last years 25th Anniversary of the Madden franchise and the release of Madden NFL 25, Electronic Arts announced today that Madden NFL 15 will be released on August 26th in America and August 29th in Europe. It will be released on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3. No signs of Wii U being part of the franchise release on consoles.

 

EA has let fans vote for cover athlete’s since Madden NFL 11 and will be letting their fans vote again for this year’s cover athlete, which a special cover vote announcement will be made during the NFL Draft on ESPN on May 8th at 8pm E.T.

The game allows you to own both sides of your team to face against your rivals and it is announced that, Madden NFL 15 will include “the most immersive defensive gameplay control in franchise history.” It will also add a new “broadcast presentation,” which will include new camera angles for game day, as well as pre-game and halftime features. No other additional features or upgrades were announced for this new release.

 

EA released a trailer, which included Luke Kuechly, who is Carolina Panthers’ defensive player of the year. The trailer will have you witness Kuechly going through transformation “into Madden” and towards the end you’ll noticed that the transformation will be revealed in June.

Madden NFL 15 will cost $60 when it arrives on store shelves and last year’s version of the game, Madden NFL 25, is in stores right now for $54.99 on the Xbox One and PS4 used.
