For anyone unfamiliar with the project, Sea of Solitude is a puzzle-style adventure game set in a world where those who become overwhelmed by feelings of loneliness can transform into unrecognizable monsters. The story follows Kay, a young woman who has begun her own transformation. She will soon discover that only by interacting with these creatures, and learning more about their past, can she overcome her own loneliness.
It has been a very productive year for Jo-Mei. Not only will the studio be wrapping up Sea of Solitude, but the team has already begun working towards their next title: Sands of Sorrow. Not many details have been revealed as of now. While the project is very early in its development, Geppert has teased some artwork currently in the works which can be seen below.
Sea of Solitude will be playable on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Pre-ordering is now currently available for all three platforms. If you would like to ensure that you can play the game on launch day, visit the game’s official EA page and order your copy now.
