As gaming becomes more and more mainstream events like E3 garner more public interest, it becomes worth while to capitalize on the interest and get the word out. Enter E3 Live, ESA’s (Entertainment Software Association) first ever free public event. The event will take place from June 14th to June 16th and will run alongside the main event.
The event is free and open to anyone, the only catch is that you need a ticket. Tickets will be given on a first come first serve basis, so act fast. You can register for your tickets here, all you have to be is seventeen years or older. Those sixteen and under can attend but must be accompanied by a parent. The ESA will be holding E3 Live in downtown L.A at L.A Live and admission will be given in five hour increments.
E3 Live is a pretty sweet deal for those who would like to check out what the industry will be working on for the next few years. As it stands right now if you are an average person looking to get into E3, you are going to have to shell out $995 bucks for an expo pass.
The page states that people who attend the event will be able to play demos, including VR demos, meet industry personalities, buy some exclusive swag and games and just generally enjoy a fun party.
