Today was an exciting day for gamers all around the world. According to an article released by Polygon, EA is set to have a huge E3. They will be bringing out the big guns and are ready to show off 2016’s biggest titles. These include: Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda, and Battlefield.
Kicking it all off, as expected, is Battlefield 1. This triple A title is one of the most hyped games of all time and EA (with DICE) have done an excellent job promoting it. The launch trailer was refreshing and exciting and as promised by the reveal press conference we will be getting a boat load of new information about the game. Polygon is predicting a demo as well as some DLC reveals.
Next on tap Polygon is reporting that we will defiantly see Titanfall 2. Titanfall 2 will be using this platform at E3 to add fuel to the hype train as they did with their cryptic reveal trailer. After the immense popularity of the Xbox One exclusive Respawn is now pushing this high budget title to all platforms and is looking to compete with the other big dogs. The entire community is ecstatic about the sequel and is ready for more.
With the immense success of the original Mass Effect Trilogy it was only fair that EA gave gamers a chance to revisit the universe of Mass Effect. The franchise will most defiantly be included in EA’s press conference and will likely show gameplay footage as well as a new trailer.
The new game will take place in the Milky Way’s most near galaxy: Andromeda. Complete with all new characters and story this seems to be the beginning of a new trilogy. Not much has been revealed about the game, all we have to go on is last years E3 trailer and a few leaks that may or may not be true.
It was also reported by Polygon that this E3 will hold the future of Star Wars: Battlefront as well. EA plans to reveal the last few DLCs for the game as well as showcase them in live demo. Although Battlefront’s sales were not as high as expected EA is looking forward to the opportunity to show what more Star Wars: Battlefront Has to offer.
As with every year, expect to see a plethora of EA sports games in the lineup. Titles like FIFA, Madden, and NBA Live. EA Sports has been a staple in EA’s overall lineup and this year will be no different. Expect demos, trailers, the whole shebang when it comes to their bread and butter.
As always E3 brings out the best in the community’s favorite developers and EA is looking to cash in on that. EA has a stacked lineup and is going in to the convention with a no holds barred mentality. EA is bringing the games, the goods, and all of the hype we could ever ask for. If only E3 was sooner rather than later.
Let the hype train roll.
