Dreamworks Voltron VR Chronicles Announced for PSVR

Dreamworks series Voltron: Legendary Defender recently had its third season released on Netflix, with a fourth season slated for release in October of this year. The series has garnered a large following from both old and new fans alike, reviving the 1980’s cartoon series into a more vibrantly colored and high-paced animated adventure.

In addition to the variety of Voltron: Legendary Defender merchandise and the Netflix series, a new game, Dreamworks Voltron VR Chronicles is set for release in December of this year. Dreamworks Voltron VR Chronicles allows you to play as one of the main characters of the series, Lance, the Blue Paladin who pilots the Blue Lion.

Viewers of the Voltron: Legendary Defender animated series may also recognize similarities in the game’s narrative style and character voices:

“Fans of the show will be thrilled to know that each of the TV show’s voice actors have lent their amazing voice talents to the experience. We were also excited to involve the showrunners who provided some of their writing expertise and thorough knowledge of the Voltron universe.”

The game will allow the player to have a 360° virtual-reality experience, piloting the Blue Lion in battles while acting as Lance through complex story lines as the game progresses.

Dreamworks Voltron VR Chronicles requires PlayStation VR, PlayStation Camera, and PS move controllers, and fans can jump on the chance to buy the camera and headset for a discounted price  starting September 1st.

The game can also be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store for a discounted price starting September 26th, and is set for release in December.
