In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fans got a chance to play their favorite big hair, Super Saiyan character Goku and friends going through the DBZ story up to the Cell Saga. Today, a new update was added to the game. Fans will be thrilled into seeing what they are able to do within the new Boss Battle Episode and see the new DLC which is called New Power Awaken Part 1 has in store where players have the potential chance to beat Beerus.
The lead producer of the game, Ryosuke Hara, goes into detail about what fans should expect and talks about everything new that will have fans in total shock. He says, “This upcoming DLC is the first Boss Battle Episode that Season Pass owners can access. The Season Pass includes 2 Boss Battle Episodes and 1 Additional Scenario. In terms of content volume, each Boss Battle Episode is on par with a few Sub Stories combined. The Additional Scenario we will be on-par with one story saga (such as the Saiyan or Frieza sagas).”
In the Boss Battle Episode, players will get a chance to show off their growth and power level even to the point to fight against the strongest opponents. But players should keep in mind that the DLC episode is not going to follow the story line from the movie but instead it will have there own original storyline and will focus mostly on the battle gameplay.
Going back to the DLC he says, “The main focus of this DLC will be improving strength by following Whis’ training regimen, allow Goku and Vegeta to awaken a new power and finally challenging the ultimate opponent, Beerus. Players will also be able to fight against a level 250 Beerus from the beginning. Confident players should definitely take on this challenge without undergoing Whis’ training.”
Also, players are not required or forced to clear the main story campaign when choosing to play the DLC. Players can even choose a new DLC and obtain the Super Saiyan God form in the beginning and single-handedly take out Raditz.
Being that this is the first-ever DLC Episode that’s been in development with the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game, fans can get a full head start on strengthen their character during this newly well-developed concept the creators have made. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot update is out now.
