Bring along one or three friends to help you manage a family businesses that has been going for generations. At the Good Mourning Funeral Home, your job is to ensure families get the best farewell they can to their loved ones, this is the final time they will see them and it has to be special. Your funeral home is the most trusted (and the only) one in town, so the pressure is on to ensure everything goes well.
The Good Mourning Funeral Home is a legitament buisnessness despite the silly antics that can occur here. You and your friends will have to keep the building clean, have it prepared for the next funeral, and be ready to embalm bodies when need be. Also, prevent the public from going to the back of the house, there’s no need for them to see what goes on there.
When bodies arrive there is no time to waste, the embalming process has to be started right away to beat the start of decay. If body parts are missing upon arrival or after, they can be replaced with random items such as shovels, skateboards, or even a basketball for a head; afterall, “a head is essentially a basketball with a picture on it (depending on who you ask).”
If you’re wondering why a limb could be missing after a body is handed over to your funeral home, it’s because this isn’t an ordinary businesses. Yes, funerals and all the things that come with it are done here, but at a cost other than money–Grandma has to be fed. She’s been around ever since the place was built, but she’s locked in the basement and “not in a particularly human form.” Every day she will have a special request for her meals, so don’t forget to check the menu for the day. Make sure you get her what she wants, if you don’t, you may become her meal.
Grave Mistakes is set to release November 2026 and is available to wishlist on Steam now.
