Pax East 2018 is in full force and theres a bunch of exciting news going around. Earlier today Square Enix announced some DLC coming to Final Fantasy XV this year, but some might wonder if they have something in the works behind the scenes.
There has recently been a bit of an uproar on Twitter when a few notable YouTubers – Cynical, Skyward Wing, and HMK, whose channels include a huge amount of Kingdom Hearts-related content – tweeted that Square Enix gave them notice that they will be among the first few that get to get a hands-on look at the much anticipated title Kingdom Hearts III.

Also to clear any confusion, as I’m seeing a lot of different responses to this within the past 2 hours, We were given the go ahead by Square Enix to publicly announce this.

I wanted to make sure it was okay for me to bring this up first and I just got the confirmation. I can happily announce I will be getting the first ever hands on with Kingdom Hearts 3. I can’t share much beyond that but thank you for this opportunity! #TeamSkyward pic.twitter.com/ptSM18I7bb

Note! Square has given us the OK on what we are announcing on being selected to be among the first to play #KingdomHeartsIII No Further Details at this time.
Thank You— HMK @ PAX East (@HMKilla) April 7, 2018
These tweets gained a lot of attention as the three content creators all happen to be present at PAX East 2018 as well. No more details have been given out at this time as each of the YouTubers stated that they are not able to disclose any other information at this time.
Although, this does lead to believe that Square Enix may have a playable demo in store for fans sometime in the near future. With the KH Union X (Cross) event coming up next week as well as E3 2018 in a couple of months, it wouldn’t be too absurd to believe at this point. Kingdom Hearts III still doesn’t have an exact release date, but is slated to release sometime this year.
