Battlefield 4 developer DICE has announced via Twitter that they will reveal a new BF4 map and game mode at this year’s gamescom.

Starting August 21, gamescom will unfold as publishers and developers alike announce new games and features which, in this industry’s generation shift, should garner a high response from fans and be one last big sway for PR before Microsoft and Sony uncork their consoles this holiday season.
The Facebook Event has over 5,000 attendees in just over two hours. While the company has made no official statement on the Events page, it seems Facebook fans have taken it upon themselves to ask others what they want from DICE. Some expect to see jets, bigger maps, and even dinosaurs. That’s right, dinosaurs.
With DICE announcing a new map and mode for BF4 and the prospect of many other developers teasing new content, this should be an exciting year for both Battlefield 4 fans and video game consumers alike.
