Microsoft has recently announced that they will be releasing more information on the next installment of character DLC for Halo Wars 2 very soon. Since the game’s release in February, the developers have released a new DLC leader; Kinsano this past March. However, in a recent post on their weekly blog Microsoft teased their fans on new information for the next upcoming DLC. The developer 343 industries expressed it will most likely reveal more information about the DLC next week. The studio stated “We’ve got some pretty awesome new details about the game’s next DLC leader that should be emerging next week, so grab a buddy and be ready!” 343 Industries also stated that they would like to continue to release new character leaders each month in an effort to keep the game feeling fresh for players. They want fans to look forward to the upcoming news about the new additions to the game.
The new leaders will be available with the Halo Wars 2 season pass or to be bought individually. The new DLC leaders aren’t the only updates coming too Halo Wars 2 In other news the developers also released an update that fixes some issues/bugs in the game, including one that was created along with the Kinsano update. Other improvements were made that fixed campaign saves from previous versions from crashing. Now the saves load successfully without any problems. The patch also fixes various gameplay aspects that dealt with watchtowers and motion sensors detecting cloaked units, fixed an issue where cloaking would generators would stop cloaking after a certain amount of time if the leader’s power was fully upgraded, and updated the text for Forge’s “Rolling Economy” Leader power to match balance changes made in the Kinsano Update.
