A new image is making its way around the internet today, involving Bungie’s future DLC expansion packs for its hit game Destiny. The image source claims to be from a private meeting held by Bungie.
Destiny players are no strangers to leaked content. This past November, cinematic footage of its current DLC pack, The Dark Below, was leaked on YouTube, several weeks before it was scheduled to come out. The photo shows either possible expansion packs or a potential sequel to Destiny. As you can see in the photo above The Dark Below and House of Wolves, scheduled to be released this March, are deemed as part of Destiny’s original DLC. New information, gathered from the leaked photo, could possibly suggest that Comet the Plague of Darkness is a standalone game rather than an expansion pack. Also after Comet is outlined, you can see the other content named The Vex and Forge of Gods labeled as expansion three and four. All of this is clearly speculation as none of this information has been officially confirmed by Bungie.
The original photo first popped up on a Bungie forum but since has been taken down due to violation of their Code of Conduct policy. It’s a shame that developers are constantly having to battle to maintain secrecy with their content. For more information on Destiny, please visit the Bungie website.
