Deep Silver Could Be Teasing Something New For Saints Row

There hasn’t been a new entry within the Saints Row series for quite some time. The last title for the franchise, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, was released back in 2015, but since then we haven’t heard anything else from the over the top open world shooter. Since then, the development team behind the series released Agents of Mayhem, and it seems as though Saints Row has been on the back burner for a while.

However, the franchise has unexpectedly reared it’s head as it was just recently announced that Saints Row the Third has officially arrived for the Nintendo Switch. This came as a surprise to many and what happened next was even more unexpected. Deep Silver, the publisher for the series, went to Twitter to give fans a heads up about new things happening with Saints Row. They said that fans should subscribe to their YouTube account to stay notified on new content such as announcements and new trailers.

Although there are no specifics as to what these exciting things may be, the timing of this announcement could mean something big since E3 is only about a month away. And right about this time many developers start teasing news to get fans really amped for the event. Speculations have already be circling that this could possibly be the reveal of Saints Row V. Although it is important to note that this message does not promise a big reveal, it is proof that we will see something fresh for the franchise. Hopefully Deep Silver will open up soon about what they have lined up for the Saints.
