Dead or Alive 6 Will Be Shown at EVO 2018 in Las Vegas On August 3

It was officially announced that Dead or Alive 6 would be exhibited at this year’s EVO on August 3 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV. During EVO, the new title will be playable for the first time at EVO and it will also host a small tournament.

An important development of this game is focusing on the quality of the fighting sensation rather than pursuing dazzling visual effects. Dead or Alive 6 will introduce a new combo system, as well as new features called “Fatal Rush” and “Break Gauge”.

“Fatal Rush” is a continuous attack by pressing one button. “Break Gauge” is the first super-pneumatic slot system introduced in the DoA series. Players will increase their strength slots every time once hit, be hit, and block; when the pneumatic slot is full, the player can cast “Break Blow,” a special attacking hit, or “Break Hold,” a counterattack block. These elements are undoubtedly wanting to lower the threshold for newcomers to newcomers. Of course, on the other hand, according to the move and the timing of actions, players can tell the difference between novices or veterans of Dead or Alive 6.

Adding a more realistic impression, Dead or Alive 6 will support 4K resolution, and the overall quality of the scenes and characters will be enhanced. The characters’ skin rendering will be more realistic, and the display of sweat, shadows, and wrinkles will be more intensive than in the previous iteration. The number of movable parts of the character’s model has been increased, and the facial expression is abundant. You can see expressions like crying and laughing, and their faces will react when they are being hit

Dead or Alive 6 has been confirmed to be available on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms early next year.
