The news was shared in a trailer today on Twitter, which teased the forthcoming announcement. The Hellraiser Chapter for Dead by Daylight will be released at some point in September on every platform where the game is available, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, and Nintendo Switch. Pinhead is also coming to the mobile edition of Dead by Daylight, but not until later this year. PC players can also test out the Hellraiser Chapter through the Dead by Daylight Player Test Build on Steam beginning August 17 at 11 AM ET. It should be noted though that this build will likely have many bugs as it is not a finished build. Those looking for the details on the PTB can look here.

While this is good news for fans of the game, there is also a bit of bad news to go along with it. The Dead By Daylight Twitter account also announced that the Stranger Things character bundle DLC will be discontinued. While the license will expire in November, players who buy the bundle until they disappear will still be able to play as these characters. But, the Hawkins Library stage included in the bundle will no longer be playable. Even so, Dead By Daylight still has plenty of engaging crossovers, and more content on the way to keep the fanbase happy for plenty more years to come.
