Earlier this week, it was revealed that Stranger Things is returning to Dead by Daylight. Now, Horror movie icon Chucky, the killer Good Guy doll, joins the roster of killers in Dead by Daylight. The developers released a short trailer showcasing the upcoming chapter, with glimpses of Chucky’s unique gameplay that sets him apart from the rest of its killers.

Due to his small size Chucky, voiced by his original voice actor Brad Dourif, has been crafted as a stealth Killer, perfect for sneaking around, hiding behind even the smallest of obstacles, and surprising survivors with his lunging attack.

Additionally, Chucky boasts speed capable of running and vaulting through windows and under pallets to close in on his victims. The killer doll comes with three perks designed after his playful and cruel nature. The first, Hex: Two Can Play, blinds any Survivor that attempts to stun or blind the killer.

The second perk, Friends ‘Til The End, centers around Obsessions. When the killer hooks a Survivor that isn’t the Obsession, the real Obsession will briefly reveal their aura. Likewise, hooking the real Obsession, will then cause a random Survivor to become the next Obsession, with a scream.

Chucky’s last perk, Batteries Included, gives the killer a movement boost when entering the vicinity of a completed Generator, as long as the killer stays in range.

Players can customize with various outfits, including the Good Gal Outfit, whose looks are inspired by the Bride of Chucky and voiced by Jennifer Tilly. Fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the killer doll. Chucky heads to Dead By Daylight November 28, 2023.
