Days Of Play 2024 Features Discounts On Games, Memberships, Hardware, & More

Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed its plans for Days of Play which kicks off this week starting tomorrow, May 29 at 12:01 AM and will run through June 12 at 11:59 PM local time in each region. SIE announced that they will be discounts on games, hardware, memberships, and more. SIE also announced what’s coming to PS Plus for the month of June which will include bonus Game Catalog titles, PS VR2 titles, new PS2 titles, and more.

In celebration of Days of Play, there are new avatars for all PlayStation players to get. The avatars commemorate some of the popular titles that will be offered through PlayStation Plus for the month.

Three new Community challenges are coming where PlayStation players will work together to reach community goals to unlock exclusive PlayStation Stars rewards. PS Plus members will get a unique reward for participating. There will also be special PlayStation Stars campaigns during Days of Play with new digital collectibles to earn and exclusive PlayStation Stars campaigns for PS Plus members that are focused on titles available through PS Plus such as Dredge and EA Sports FC.

PS Plus members can also look forward to the brand new event from PlayStation Tournaments: the Days of Play Cup for EA Sports FC 24. Qualifiers begin June 1 – June 9. Participants will earn a PlayStation Stars EA Sports FC 24 digital collectible and an in-game PlayStation FC kit just for joining. Winners will get a one-month PlayStation Plus Premium voucher code, and an invite to join Playoffs. The top 16 Playoff finishers will win FC Points, or a share of $1500 in cash prizes.

Competitors in select North American and European regions will automatically be eligible to win exciting prizes, including a DualSense Edge controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and PlayStation Portal remote player. For those who make the Playoffs, you’ll have a chance to win a trip for two to the 2025 UEFA Champions League Final in Munich.

Starting May 29 – June 12, both the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition will be $50 off. The PS VR2 and the PS VR2 Horizon: Call of the Mountain bundle will be $100 off. There will also be $20 off select titles including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, MLB The Show 24, MLB The Show 24: The Negro Leagues Edition, and Rise of the Ronin. Those who purchase a console or a PS VR2 headset directly from PlayStation will get 12 months of Netflix Premium at no additional cost.

PlayStation Plus members can also enjoy 15% off content from Sony Pictures Core during Days of Play. There will also be 20% off products storewide at the PlayStation Gear Store which features merchandise from Helldivers 2, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War, PlayStation branded gear, and more.

PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for June includes Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4. For Days of Play, SIE is releasing bonus titles for Game Catalog, Classic, Catalog, PS VR2, and a Game Trial.

For the first time, several PS VR2 titles are now part of PS Plus’ library of games. Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, Walkabout Mini Golf, Synth Riders, Before Your Eyes, and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapters 1&2 will be available for Premium members on June 6.

The PS2 games coming to the Classics Catalog include Tomb Raider Legend, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus starting on June 11 for Premium members.

Dredge is coming to PlayStation Plus on May 29. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2  will be available May 31. Cricket 24 is coming to June 5. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition will be available June 7.

WWE 2K24 will be available on Game Trials starting on May 29.
