Earlier this morning Bandai Namco released a new trailer showing PVP combat for the upcoming DLC for Dark Souls III. The trailer shows off some new game modes such as Duels and three on three Battles.
The trailer reveals all new PVP game modes for which players will be able to take their Dark Souls III experience to the next level. The new update does include other content along with the highly anticipated PVP content. When announcing the Ashes of Ariandel DLC, Bandai Namco stated that, “Players will find themselves steeped in a brand new environment filled with terrifying new enemies, challenges, and exciting lore to expand the overarching Dark Souls III storyline.”
The trailer goes as far as to tell players to “embrace the darkness… together”. Not only will the new PVP game modes be added but there will also be an addition of new weapons, armor sets, and magic elements to add to everyones arsenal.
Ashes of Ariandel will be the first of two DLC’s planned for Dark Souls III and will come with a price tag of $15 on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For just $10 more people can pick up a season pass and gain access to all future DLC’s. The second one is expected to see a early 2017 release date.
The release date for Ashes of Ariandel will be October 25th.
