Dark Souls 3 has only been out for three days and people are already wondering when they will be getting more content for the game.
According to Videogamer, in a statement confirmed by Producer Bandi-Namco, fans can expect DLC for Dark Souls 3 this fall, with a second pack coming out at a later date.
While obviously no details were given, the DLC will include new areas, bosses, enemies, weapons, and armor sets. Both packs are included in the season pass for $24.99, and will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. No word on the individual prices, but the DLC for Dark Souls 2 cost $10 each, with the season pass also costing $24.99.
Despite poor frame rate on the console versions and game breaking bugs on PC, Dark Souls 3 has been doing great so far, with reviews consistently in the 8.5 – 9.5 range with fans and critics alike calling the game a masterful blend of difficulty and action that is worthy sequel to the Soulsborne franchise.
As we mentioned in an earlier article about leaked Dark Souls 3 footage, the game does an excellent job of blending elements from all previous Souls games, including Bloodborne, from themes, to enemy design, even characters.
