An incredibly intense and super-sonic paced car game is on the way from some of the developers of the Burnout series. Three Fields Entertainment introduces the gaming world to Dangerous Driving, which will be focusing on the more aggressive aspects of high speed racing. The development team has talked about the fact that the industry has not released many games that revolve around fun, arcade driving games and actually wrote a blog series discussing their passion for the genre and some of the creation behind Dangerous Driving.
According to Three Fields, “This game is about real driving. The sort of driving you’d do if no one else was looking.” There are less obstacles and distractions on the beautifully crafted courses, that is, except for the other drivers that are standing in your way. It’s made to embrace the classics created for arcades from Sega, Taito, and Namco with present day mechanics and graphics. Check out some of the crazy gameplay on its way in the many game modes that will be available:
Dangerous Driving will incorporate 9 single player game modes that will be connected into a 69 event single player progression. These game modes range all over the racing spectrum and heavily embrace their arcade elements. One game mode allows drivers to boost their speed the more opponents they Takedown; another is an all-out elimination race of 5 laps where its every player for themselves. There is even 1 versus 1 Face Offs “where the other guy is in a faster car and the only way to win is to take him down repeatedly.” Compete and outrun the cops alongside other players or AI drivers. All of this dangerous speeding will take place on 270 miles of track over 31 courses that cover vastly different environments like deserts, lakes, and mountains. The game will launch with 26 vehicles that can be progressed through 6 car classes, which can be modified to become faster or more deadly.
Dangerous Driving arrives tomorrow on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and exclusively for PC on the Epic Games store.
