Marvelous USA has released two new videos for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, introducing players to the Reclaimers and the Neun, two factions central to the upcoming dark sci-fi action title. The game launches September 5, 2025, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, according to a press release.
Set in a distant future where mutated humans known as Outers rule from advanced space stations, the Reclaimers are a resistance group fighting against the Outers’ Sovereign Axiom military regime. Led into uneasy alliance with the protagonist Nova, the Reclaimers bring together a mix of hardened fighters, some of whom remain wary of Nova’s Outer heritage.
On the other side of the war is the Special Services 9th Division, better known as the Neun. This elite Axiom unit is made up of nine Outers referred to as the “Demons of Heaven.” Each member possesses unique abilities forged through genetic modification, battle scars, and dangerous experiments.
Produced by Kenichiro Tsukuda with mechanical designs from Shoji Kawamori, Titanic Scion expands the franchise’s scope with large-scale environments, customizable Arsenals, and cooperative gameplay. Players can fight in mechs, explore alien terrain on foot, soar through the skies, or even ride horseback across diverse landscapes.
Both trailers showcase the game’s art style, which looks vaguely like the Final Fantasy franchise of games. The trailers feature full English soundtracks, bombastic music, and action-packed sequences that hint at character personalities and gameplay mechanics. Some characters seem distinctly non-human, hinting that the lore may not be as simple as one faction versus the other.
Physical pre-orders are available in a standard edition at $59.99 and a Limited Edition at $99.99 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S through the Marvelous USA Online Store and select retailers. Digital pre-purchases are open for standard, Digital Deluxe at $79.99, and Super Digital Deluxe at $109.99 editions across all platforms.
More information, including the faction videos, can be found on the official Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion site and social channels.
