Cyberpunk 2077 made a big impression during E3 this year. During Microsoft’s Press briefing developer CD Projekt Red showed off a new trailer revealing Keanu Reeves being featured in the game. The trailer also showed off the game’s release date set for next year. It’s officially been confirmed that the game has entered it’s polishing stage within the development process and other details abut the game having multiple endings have been confirmed as well. It’s been over five long years after the game’s initial announcement but now we finally know when we will be able to get our hands on the new futuristic RPG.
However, besides for the trailer Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t show off much more to the public in regards to gameplay during the rest of E3 this year. Many were hoping on getting a look at a some fresh new gameplay of the game, but CD Projekt Red chose to keep their new gameplay behind closed doors for the remainder of the big show. After the big trailer this left fans wondering when they will see more actual gameplay of the game for themselves. Thankfully we now have an answer as to when we can finally get some more footage of the game ourselves.
CD Projekt Red’s global community lead Marcin Momot replied to a tweet from Wushu Studios’ community manager, stating that Cyberpunk 2077’s extended gameplay demo will be public during this year’s PAX West. “It’s going to happen exactly during PAX West.” Momot said. Pax West will take place between August 29 and September 2 in Seattle, WA at the Washington State Convention Center. We don’t have much longer to wait before we get another look at the game as we draw ever so closer to its release. Cyberpunk 2077 will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April, 16 2020.
