

Just yesterday, CyberConnect2 and SEGA, developers of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, have released a teaser trailer for character Muichiro Tokito for the sequel series Hinokami Chronicles 2. The game is planned to be released on August 5th of this year, and players can pre-purchase the game now on Steam for $59.99. The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will be released on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch. There is also a pre-order bonus where players will instantly unlock Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji. There are also more bonuses with pre-ordering the deluxe edition, and players will be able to play 5 days early before the game officially launches.
The trailer reveals Murichiro Tokito, one of the nine Hashiras in the Demon Slayer series, and voiced by English voice actor Griffin Burns. The gameplay footage shows the fight between him and Gyokko, one of the twelve Kizuki, from the anime series. In this game, players will be able to relive the Demon Slayer series through a gaming perspective.
The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will include both single player mode where players will play as main character Tanjiro Kamado to relive the Entertainment District Arc from the official Demon Slayer anime series, and VS Mode where players can challenge online and offline players with a selection of 40 different characters from the series from the main cast, to the antagonists.
There will be Character Unlock Keys that are bonuses that allow the players to be play the specified character in VS Mode from the start. Battle Attire will also be available for use in VS Mode, and players will also have the ability to set VS Mode System Voices in VS Mode Settings. The game will also be available in different languages such as English, Korean, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese- though the Korean subtitles are only available for purchases made in Korea.
