Alt Shift’s Crying Suns came out for Mobile back in June of 2020 and has been well received by fans due to its intrinsic gameplay. Although it was originally debuted through steam for PC, the mobile version has also done very well among fans. With such an outpour of support, Alt Shift has recently put out a new update, named “The Advanced Tactics Update,” with content ranging from new equipment, additional neutral units, new POI type, and new enemy AI. The name of the game also changes into the Crying Suns Advanced Tactics Addition, giving this strategic terrestrial game the serious tone it deserves.
The Advanced Tactics Update adds new unlockable battleship weapons, auxiliary systems, deployable squadron types, upgraded core systems, and officer abilities. The game also adds some new neutral units the player can encounter and capture to obtain a territorial advantage over their enemies. The enemy AI is also given an upgrade on how to react to players’ movements; making the player think of new strategic options when it comes to the continuous waging of war on worlds and conquering the galaxy.
Crying Suns has also been given a “new waypoint mode,” to have better control over the battlefield in sticky situations. Especially if you are battling an enemy fleet, the new movement may be what stands between victory and total inhalation. The movement should be much smoother and keener to quick reactions, so the player will have an easier time commanding star-fighters, battleships, and command ships.
Crying Suns Advanced Tactics Update is free for pre-existing owners and is available on both the IOS App Store and Android’s Google Play for $8.99. With such an interactive game style that is sure to keep you hooked, there will be no doubt that anyone will enjoy playing this mind-blowing strategic experience.
